Delete your My Hitch account

Online verification is not yet available on this website. Use Account → Delete account in the My Hitch app, or contact the privacy team below. Ownership must be verified before a request is processed.

This request route covers the My Hitch Play-test service. In the My Hitch app, open Account and choose Delete account. Use the same verified account you want to delete, review the effects and confirm by typing DELETE.

Before you confirm

Deletion is irreversible and has no cancellation period. A confirmed request immediately disables connected access and new sharing. Private operational account and profile data is deleted within 30 days. Export an encrypted backup first if you want a personal copy.

Your surviving Relief partner keeps only necessary anonymous history, including dates, day amounts, applied schedule effects and unresolved balance status. You are shown as “Deleted account.” Owed days are not automatically settled or released, pending proposals are not automatically applied and your partner's approved schedule is not reversed.

An in-app request clears the requesting account's local app data after confirmation. An external request cannot immediately erase offline devices or files you have already exported. Other devices learn revocation on a subsequent connection. Unrelated accounts remain separate.

Private server recovery copies are scheduled to expire after seven days, with hourly and local sign-in cleanup checks. An unavailable computer, files in use or cleanup failures can delay expiry until successful cleanup. These access-restricted local recovery copies are not encrypted at rest. Recovery preserves deletion decisions. This period does not govern provider logs or user-owned exports. See the privacy policy for details.

Verify the account you want to delete

Use the same verified account for a saved request. If verification is unavailable, contact Snuffridge Group from your verified account email. Support must verify ownership; sending an email alone does not delete an account. Never send a password, token or deletion receipt.

If a response is interrupted

A connection failure does not mean the request failed. Keep the saved receipt on the device or original verification page where you submitted the request, check status through the app or the original request page and verify the same account to retry the same request. Do not clear browser data while completion is unknown. Signing out does not cancel a submitted request.
